Vintage hexagonal patches - Comment and get a chance to get two for free

I have lots of these vintage hexagonal patches which came from a damaged quilt. We have carefully unpicked the good ones so that they can be used again.

How would you use these patches.

Send in your comments to this page and I will have a draw on Saturday and the winning owner of the comment will get two of these patches free to start you off on  your creation.

Lovely Victorian ribbon is also being listed tomorrow.

I would use these vintage hexagonal patches for fabric collages I create from fabric, lace, trim, and other vintage bits and pieces that reassemble into a sometimes faded sometimes frayed unity with an identity and timeless atmosphere of their own.

Hi Sandie, I have purchased some of these hexagon blocks from you already, and my plan is to appliqué each one to a tea-dyed vintage linen square. I hope to make at least twelve blocks this way then hand quilt the finished quilt. Haven't decided on backing or binding yet! Cheers, Sam

I would have to make these into a piece in their own right with embroidery added perhaps a vintage table mat or cushion
