Vintage silky ribbons

I just adore touching old silky ribbons especially the antique silk ones. I dream about where and what they have been used for in the past and who used or wore them.

I have so many ribbons in my stash that I thought I would put a number together in a stashbag. the last lot sold well so today I've listed four more.

Now what to do with these wonderful ribbons.

I've been having a scout around the web and come up with these ideas, but it would be great to get YOUR ideas as well, so send them in to me and we will make up a list.

Vintage fabrics and vintage items at Rag Rescue tomorrow

All being listed tomorrow at 7am BST at
RAG RESCUE WEBSITE

Well loading this picture has taken me 15minutes. It appears that blogger have changed the format for loading pictures and mine just wouldn't load. After going into help I managed to follow someone's suggestions and go back to the old editor. What a drag, now I can get on with sorting out more fabrics for next week.
I managed to win a great lot of haberdashery yesterday at aucton. there are lots and lots of wonderful old sewing silks, pre 1960 cottons, Victorian packets of press studs etc etc. I'll start listing them soon

Friday morning new listings.

Here is just a sample of the 24 new items I will be listing tomorrow morning at 7.30am BST

I am sorry that I have not had the time to do a block picture of more of the items. Today has been another busy day working on correcting the website.
The great news it that it is fully automated now, thank goodness. When a payment is made by paypal, the items are put on hold immediately and your invoice shows up in your account. This means I will have more time to prepare new items and find them for you.
What a relief.
If you do have a problem please let me know as soon as possible so that I can get it corrected.
Thank you for your patience.
