Getting back to work after losing my mum to vascular dementia.

Sorry for not posting on my blog for a while. My mother has been in and out of hospital since January of this year. She had vascular dementia and on the 10th April she sadly passed away.
Mum trained as a tailoress in the Nottingham lace market and made all of my childhood dresses. I think this is where my love of textiles comes from. I shall miss her so much, but she wouldn't have wanted me to sit around moping. Sometimes I find myself staring into space but have to pinch myself to snap out of it and get back to work. I had a great fabric sale last week and tomorrow there is another sale of trims, fabrics and haberdashery.

I have also just listed the following items onto my etsy shop, so when you have a moment why not take a look and tell me what you think, as sometimes I wonder if anyone reads my blog.
Thanks for looking.

Rag Rescue on Facebook

I've been meaning to get rag Rescue on Facebook  for a while now and this morning finally managed it. Although I've been on face book under Sandra Kerensky for a while now I haven't had much spare time to explore it and still need to get my head around it. Anyway would love you all to become fans of both my sites.

Oops! forgot to say you can  get there by clicking on the link on the right hand side bar.
