More French vintage fabrics have been placed on Rag Rescue website

I'm having to be very organised at the moment as my son's wedding is just around the corner.

He is getting married in Croatia so hopefully the weather will be much better than it is here.

I start my tanning this morning, just a few minutes at a time. Even though I live by the sea the weather has been so terrible for such a long time that my skin is very white and that won't do, otherwise I will frizzle out in Croatia.

Vintage lace stash bags at Rag Rescue

I have listed some more vintage lace stash bags to the Rag Rescue website today.

When you have built up a stash of antique and vintage lace the possibilities for their use are endless. I just love working with lace on handmade felt. I recently made all of the pockets to hold the wedding invitations for my son and his fiance. I not only had such fun making them but got so many lovely comments from the wedding guests.

ROSES AND WAX HEADDRESSES COMING SOON AT RAG RESCUE

As I will not be listing this week I thought I would show some photographs of items that will be listed this month. I have spent the last 6 hours sorting through all of the items I bought at the fairs and logging them into my record sheets.

Above you can see some beautiful antique wax flowered wedding tiara's, strings of ribbon roses, ribbon roses on lace and superb ostrich feather powder puffs, all lying on the most delightful old silk satin fabric embroidered with roses.

Pipe laying is continuing in the house so the water has been off and on all day so I've not been able to wash my fabrics yet but I've taken some pictures to show you and will post them tomorrow.
