This is a beautiful 19th century piece of used French cotton fabric. it has gently faded over the years giving it that shabby chic appeal that is so popular.
The colours are my favourite being in a duck egg blue and shades of pink.

The fabric has small hems on some sides but is still very strong and ideal for the front of a boudoir cushion/pillow.

Vintage French linen fabric - TS11

This is a wonderful piece of vintage French linen fabric which was once part of a window valance. The fabric is textured with ribbed lines running at intervals.

 As this was part of a valance there is slight gathering along the top edge which would straighten out if the stitching was taken out. There is also slight stitch marks along the bottom where there was a hem but with laundering or steaming I am sure that these will be less noticeable.

Measures - 82/79cms / 32.3/31.1" x 23cms/9.1"

I just adore this fabric with its colourful flowers and cute animals. The design is so unusual with the deer and rabbits running through the mass of flowers with the bird watching.

 The fabric is a textured linen and is very strong, ideal for a cushion front, a bag front or for other crafting, sewing uses.

 I think this piece must have been part of a curtain as there seems to have been a hem at the bottom as there is a fold line which I am sure could be ironed out. There is also a line of tiny stitch holes left by a needle, which can be seen on the photo's. Once again these should disappear with further steaming.

 The fabric measures 76cms/29.9" x 46cms/18.1"

I just adore the design on this vintage French fabric. The flowers are superb abd the dark red wine colour makes the flowers jump out at you. This would be superb if it was added to a cushion/pillow front. The fabric is very strong. A great Autumnal colour which could be used also at Christmas.

Vintage Toile de Jouy fabric

Just added this vintage French fabric to my shop.

This is a wonderful piece of French Toile de Jouy. It is gently faded and in good condition apart from some holes along the bottom edge where it had been attached to something. I have not counted the fabric at the bottom in the measurements.

Measures - 46ms/18.12 x 31cms/12.2"

It will make a superb cushion front or the front of a bag. Equally it would look superb framed.

 A wonderful piece of vintage French silky fabric that I think was once part of a dress. It is machine embroidered in shades of cream and grey and the fabric is two tone in brown and beige.

I have not cleaned this fabric but you may want to. The piece comes as I found it.

Ideal for a collection or to be used for projects.

There are two pieces available.
The piece I will sell first measures 63cms/24.8"wide x 59cms/23.2" long
The second piece measures measures 64cms/25.2" wide x 55cms/21.7" long
Please note that there some small holes along one edge but I have not included them in the measurements.
