My own creations using felt and vintage fabric

Many people have asked me if I use vintage fabrics myself in my own crafts. In my spare time I make felted pieces incorporating my own Rag Rescue vintage fabrics.

I thought you might like to see a few of these.

I made the felt on the whole by the wet felting method but also by using the embellisher machine.

Beautiful items. I started going to felt making classes a few months ago and had no idea how many beautiful things can be made ( or how to do it either). Love the clutch bag.

Thank you 'OhSoVintage'. I hope they inspire you. Felting is great in this weather. I almost kept the clutch bag it was one of my favourites but then I went and sold it, I'll just have to make another one. Good luck with your felting, I'm sure you will love it.

ALix, so pleased you like the faces on the Kings. I made them as special Christmas cards for members of the family and then scanned them and sent the cards to all my friends. I'm a bit behind this year as I've just finished making a needle felted angel doll for my daughter and it took absolutely ages. Just waiting for her to photograph it as she was so excited that she took it before I could get my camera out.
