Pretty vintage fabric squares at the Rag Rescue website tomorrow

I hope you are enjoying the sun and the wonderful warm weather.

Why not sit in your garden this evening and sew.

More vintage fabric at Rag Rescue today

My apologies for this preview being late. Over the past few weeks I have been clearing out my mothers house. As she didn't live close by I have had to stay away from home for the past few weekends. However the goods news is that I have completed the move now and everything is boxed up waiting for my husband to pick it all up and bring it over next week. Mum is now living with us so I won't have to go away again, thank goodness.
I'll get all orders posted tomorrow and posting times and newsletters will be back to normal now.

On my arrrival home yesterday afternoon there was a large parcel waiting for me from France. I was too tired to even open it so that will be my treat for today. Expect more luscious French fabrics soon.

Vintage fabric for small projects

Sometimes you just want a small piece of fabric for a project.
Rag Rescue salvages vintage fabrics and sells every bit from large pieces to the tiniest of scraps. No bit is wasted as customers are found for even the tiniest pieces of fabrics which make their way into collages and sculptures. This is so heart warming in this throw away society of ours.
What would you use these small pieces of vintage fabric for?

They will be listed on the Rag Rescue website tomorrow at 7am BST

It's vintage fabric squares day tomorrow at the Rag Rescue website

Hope you are enjoying the sunshine today. Unfortunately I'm not, as I'm having to clean and tidy the house as we are having a visitor from Malaysia arriving tomorrow.
Morecambe is extremely busy today so perhaps it's a good thing that I'm staying in as there isn't a parking space to be had anywhere.

Two pieces of French antique toile - c.1790 approx.

Two fabulous pieces of French vintage toile from the late 18th century. The image on the right only shows a small part of the design. It can be viewed in full tomorrow at the Rag Rescue website.
There will also be two smaller pieces of French vintage toile.

Vintage French fabric for small projects tomorrow

Apologies for lack of newsletter

I am afraid my monitor has stopped working on my PC this morning. As I don't have all the customers emails (over 500 of them) on my laptop or external hard drive, I'm afraid I haven't been able to send out the weekly newsletter to my customers.
If you would like the newsletter can you please email me at sandie-k (at) tiscali (dot) co (dot) uk and I will send you one in an individual email. I am hoping to get my monitor sorted tomorrow. If this is not possible, don't forget you will be able to see a preview each evening of the next days listing.

If anyone out there is technical perhaps you could tell me why out of the blue my monitor shows a red rectangle stating 'Out of Range' and 'Work Range'. Help would be very well received.

Rag Rescue website link to go on ITV 1, this morning

I had a phone call from the 'ITV 1 channel - This morning', today asking me if I would send them  one of the watercolours from the Rag Rescue website for their photo shoot on a room make-over. In return for this they are going to place a link on itv.com/thismorning. How cool is that?

Tomorrow I am listing some more vintage fabric squares, hope you like them.

All will be revealed at the RAG RESCUE WEBSITE tomorrow
