Victorian silk ribbon tradesmans samples

I recently acquired a large bag of Victorian ribbon trademans samples and was over the moon. Many of them are plain colours but the silk is divine.

These are perfect for period projects but I will be framing some and you may like to do this as well.

As the ribbon is silk it shines different shades with movement and is so pleasing.

This ribbon is perfect and in excellent condition.

 

All the ribbons I put on the website last week have sold so if you like them don't hang around.

Saturday special listing of handmade wall hanging.

I don't normally list on a Saturday at the moment but I have decided just to put one special item each Saturday as I have some larger items to list.

I have just listed this lovely handmade vintage fabric, lace and nuno felted wall hanging on the website. At the moment I don't have a category for handmade items so I've placed it in the 'Vintage goods' category as all of the items used in the wall hanging are vintage or antique. The fabric is French.

Busy st the Rag rescue website

What a day it was yesterday. My plan was to wrap up orders and then download all the photo's of the previous day, onto my computer.

Things never go to plan and by 6pm after working hard all day, I still hadn't downloaded the photo's. So I got up at 4am today and now they are on the computer. I can start measuring and pre-listing items now for the next month.

I find that by working flat out for a whole week I can then take it easy for the next three weeks giving me time for myself and my family.

SO sorry for not posting yesterday with the new items.
