Antique, vintage pincushions and needle cases.

Whilst sorting though a few boxes last week I came across a lot of needle cases and pincushions so thought you might like to have a look at a few of them and be tempted.
They will be listed on the Rag Rescue website tomorrow.

1950's smocked pieces

I bought over 50 pieces of embroidered smocking from thee 1950's and almost the same amount of prepared smocking ready for embroidery work to be embarked upon.

The smocking came from a house clearance where the lady created childrens clothes for 'Liberty'.

Let's build up a list of Sewing quotes

I love to see sewing quotes on craft work, so thought it would be community spirited of us to build up a list of quotes for us all to use.
I'm starting you off with this one and
it would be sew nice if you could add your ideas here
or on the Rag Rescue facebook page.

With your permission I am build up the list and have created a post on the right hand side bar which you can dip into.

Rag Rescue introduces a new line of Antique lace stash bags

For the first time at Rag Rescue, tomorrow will see some Antique lace stash bags going online.
It is amazing what you can do with scraps of antique lace as I well know. I use them a great sealo in my felt work and embellishing.

If this line goes well there will be lots more added to the site as I have boxes of bits of Antique  and vintage lace.
